Enter the Sutter Home Build a Better Burger contest 2020 and earn your chances to win $30,000!
To enter this Sweepstakes, create an original burger recipe to pair with a Sutter Home wine . Then, go to buildabetterburgercontest.com during the entry period, and, once there, scroll down to locate the online entry form. Then, follow the on-screen directions to fully complete and submit it with all the requested information, including info about your creation. After having completed these steps, you will obtain one entry into the Sweepstakes.
Entries are limit to one per person during the entire Sweepstakes Period, which ends on July 31st, 2020. Following the Sweepstakes closure, twenty semi-finalists will be selected by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: Perceived Taste Appeal (40%) Does the recipe sound appealing?; Creativity (25%) Is this recipe creative and one of a kind?; Ease of Preparation (25%) Could anyone create this burger by following the recipe?; Perceived Wine Pairing (10%) Does the wine complement and enhance the burger?
Then, five finalists will be selected among the semifinalists based on the following criteria: Taste (40%): Does the burger taste good?; Creativity (25%): Is this burger creative and one of a kind?; Ease of Preparation (25%): How easily was the chef able to prepare the recipe?; Pairing With Wine (10%): Does the wine complement and enhance the burger. The finalists will be required to prepare their burger recipe in a live cooking competition to take place in October 2020 at Sutter Home Winery in St. Helena, CA. The finalists with the highest score will be deemed the winner.
The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $30,000 cash.
