Enter the T-Mobile Hometown Techover Contest and get a chance to win a $3 million techover for your town!
To enter this Contest, go to t-mobilehometowntechover.com during the entry period, and, once there, scroll down to locate the online entry form. Then, follow the on-screen directions to fully complete and submit it with all the requested information, including an explanation of why your nominated town deserves to win the Prize; proceed to upload a photo or video of the nominated town. After having completed these steps, you will obtain one entry.
Entries are limit to one per person during the entire Entry Period, which ends on May 7th, 2021. Following the Contest closure, entries will be scored based on the following criteria: 30% special nature of nominated town; 30% feasibility of network upgrade; and 40% the participation of town leadership. On or about July 31st, 2021, winner (entrant with the highest score) will be notified via email.
The Grand Prize winner will be awarded an enhancement to the local cellular network in a manner and to an extent determined feasible by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion; a technical and strategic consultation with SGA to identify a potential catalytic project; a $200,000 grant to be used towards a project resulting from the Consultation as approved by Sponsor in its reasonable discretion; a technical upgrade for a public space (e.g. library or town square) to include wifi equipment, installation, and one year of service fees; provision of Project 10 Million support and Connecting Heroes services for eligible organizations; an upgrade of facilities and playing field at one little league ball field; and a free-admission concert featuring the band Florida Georgia Line and a T-Mobile services and devices sweepstakes for local residents.
