Enter the Avocados from Mexico Guac & Beyond Contest and get a chance to win a share in $8,500 in prize money!
To enter this Sweepstakes, you must develop four recipes with the following concepts: Guacamole, Avocado Sauce, Avocado Dressing, Avocado Smear. Then, go to the official website during the entry period and follow the on-screen instructions to fully complete the online entry form with all the requested information, including your recipes. After having completed these steps, you will automatically be entered into the Contest.
Entries are limit to one per person during the entire entry period, which ends on May 6th, 2019. Following the Sweepstakes closure, a panel of judges will select 100 finalists from among all eligible entries received, using the following criteria: Overall Uniqueness of concept (33.3%); Flavor Profiles (33.3%); and Different ways of using Fresh Avocados From Mexico (33.3%). All finalists will be notified via email and receive a $200 prize. They must use $100 to purchase ingredients to develop and create their four recipes.
All finalists will be judged by a panel of judges using the following criteria: Naming/Photo (25%); Accurate Recipe – Execution (20%); Unique & Creative Recipe – (30%); Texture & Flavor – (25%). The finalist with the highest score will be deemed the Grand Prize winner.
The Grand Prize winner will be awarded $5,000.
First Prize winner will obtain $2,500.
Second Prize winner will receive $1,000.
